Growing GSC (Girl Scout Cookies): source-reported specifications

Published panels cluster around about nine to ten weeks indoors: Leafly gives an average of 9–10 weeks, Weedmaps roughly 62–71 days after the indoor light switch, and SeedFinder about 67 days. These are source specifications for named material, not one guaranteed timetable.1,2,3

Published panels side by side

SourceFlowering / finishOther published note
LeaflyAverage flowering time 9–10 weeks1Its grow panel says the plant may show green and purple buds with orange hairs and may express fruity or diesel-smelling phenotypes.1
WeedmapsApproximately 62–71 days after an indoor light-cycle switch2Its page says outdoor harvest is around mid-October in the Northern Hemisphere.2
SeedFinderAbout 67 days; description says around 9–10 weeks3The entry is filed as a Clone Only Strains record.3
DNA GeneticsApproximately 9–10 weeks indoors4This is seller/editorial guidance for material sold under the GSC name.4

Specifications are publisher-reported and are not measured by the state-lab dataset.1,2,3,4

The version problem

SeedFinder’s main record is a clone-only entry, while ILGM markets a product named Girl Scout Cookies Extreme Seeds and DNA Genetics publishes broad GSC guidance. A shared strain name does not demonstrate a shared genotype, so the source panels should not be treated as interchangeable cultivar specifications.3,4,5

The documented GSC family also includes versions such as Forum Cut, Thin Mint and Platinum GSC. The right question for a specification is which cut or seed line it describes, not only whether the label includes GSC.1,6,7

Seeds and the law in the US

CRS says the revised federal definition excludes viable seeds from a cannabis plant above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, on a dry-weight basis. CRS says most portions of the definition were delayed until December 11, 2026, while a specified synthetic-cannabinoid exclusion begins November 12, 2026; the enrolled H.R. 6500 text contains the extension language. State home-cultivation rules remain separate. This site does not sell seeds.8,9
